Hello, lovely!

Are you beginning to feel amazing (or, even more amazing)?

I hope that as you implement each of these tips, you start to experience the cumulative shifts. We’re often taught to look for big changes in short amounts of time but what I’ve seen is that big shifts in short time frames generally leads to people going back to their old ways.

Those who make gradual shifts over time, create lasting change, and that’s what we are going for 🙂  (If you’d prefer to watch the video over reading, click here.)

In Tip #12 we talked about the “wall of belief” and how when we are working on creating an amazing life, it’s inevitable that we will hit this wall that has things like

“you aren’t good enough to do this”

“you don’t deserve to have the life you want”

“you’ll never make enough money”

“you aren’t smart enough”

“no one would want you”

and so many other thoughts/beliefs written on it.

I can honestly tell you that every. single. person. at one point in their lives has had one form of these thoughts —myself included.

We tend to believe these thoughts as if they are gospel, never questioning whether or not they are true.

And, we then look for evidence every day to support our belief that we aren’t good enough, smart enough, deserving enough.

We have never been told that we actually do have the ability to choose how we feel.

So, I am here to tell you-you actually do have the choice to feel how you want to feel—It may not seem it at first because you’ve probably felt some form of crappy for so long, but the reality is, you do have a choice in how you feel.

As humans, we have a thought, and then the neuro-pathways in our brain make a connection.  The more that we continue to think that thought, the more the neuro-pathways build a stronger connection.

I’ve heard it said that we have between 12,000 to 60,000 thoughts per day and that 98% of them are the same thoughts that we had the day before.

We are so conditioned to just believe whatever negative thought comes our way that never take the time to say “I intentionally choose to think, feel or be different….”

Imagine that you have a pen in your hand and piece of paper in front of you.

Imagine that you hear the question, “what do you want to feel daily?”

What would you write down?

I’m guessing it wasn’t “crappy”, “miserable”, “exhausted” or anything else along those lines…..

I have a couple of words that I use to guide my day….Amazed, Grateful, Abundant, Vibrant Joyful & Aligned.

When I wake up in the morning, I ask myself how I can feel those feelings during the day and then I intentionally create ways to feel them.

Essentially, I gather evidence to support what I want to feel.

It’s a muscle that needs to be built (because our old foundation was really shaky) and takes some time and, at the end of each day, you’ll see that each day that you’ve looked for ways to feel the way you want to feel and have intentionally created ways to feel that starts the foundation for an AMAZING life.

If this idea sounds interesting to you, check out Danielle LaPorte’s book “The Desire Map”—It’s a great resource for clarity on what you want to experience in your life.

Tomorrow we’re going to dive deeper into this thought process and I’ll give you some more info on creating the person that you want to become.

Today’s Tip: When you look for evidence to support how you want to feel, you’ll find it. Seek out evidence for the ways you want to feel—have fun with it, make it a game. When you look for it, it will appear!
